Good morning and welcome to Tuesday, aka Romance Weekly Blog Hop day. Welcome over from the very talented Carrie Elks (FYI, you've just come all the way from England). If you missed her, you should hop back over there.
Today Elizabeth Jannette wants to know:
This is like asking me how long is a piece of string. I would guess like most of my fellow romance writers, it read A LOT, and I read it FAST. So that list shifts constantly.
First off, I am judging the Romance Writers of America RITA contest for the second time this year, the preliminary round. So, I have between 8 to 12 books heading my way, and I cleared the list to get ready to give them my full attention.
But also on that list has to be Carrie Elks (yes Carrie above from England) new book "Fix You". I recently finished "Coming Down," loved it and can't wait to read her new book. I'm like that, if I find an author I like, I raid their backlist.
Another Romance Weekly author, Steven Mitchell is on my list with "Regenesis: Dark Awakening".
I recently downloaded a third Romance Weekly author, Raine Balkera, and her debut novel "Sing To Me" is waiting for me on my trusty iPad.
I loved Kresley Cole's "Immortals After Dark" series and am working through her historical work now. Love a long backlist.
And that's it, until I get those RITA books read. You're off to Canada next to visit with my good friend Katie O'Connor. You'll have a blast with her.
